What exactly is the Growth Circle?
The Beacon Africa Growth Circle is a monthly strategic coaching membership for tourism entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders across Africa. Each month, you get a focused coaching session with Sonto, weekly advisory notes, and—depending on your tier—priority WhatsApp access, mini-audits, and quarterly strategy sprints. It is structured, consistent, and built entirely around African tourism realities.
Is this mentorship or coaching?
It is strategic business coaching—which is more useful for most members. You bring the agenda, Sonto brings the expertise, and together you work through your most pressing business challenges with clear outcomes from every session. It is deeper than generic mentorship and more flexible than traditional consulting.
How is the Growth Circle different from hiring a consultant?
A consulting project is once-off and expensive. The Growth Circle gives you ongoing, monthly access to the same level of expertise—on a predictable subscription that fits the budget of a growing tourism business. You also get continuity: Sonto learns your business over time, which makes the support more valuable every single month.
Can I join from anywhere in Africa?
Absolutely. Beacon Africa serves tourism businesses and leaders across the continent, and Growth Circle members currently include clients in South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia. All coaching sessions happen virtually, wherever you operate.
What if I work in a tourism organisation rather than running my own business?
The Growth Circle works equally well for individuals in institutional roles—tourism boards, government units, destination management organisations. If you need strategic coaching and deep sector expertise to perform better in your role and make smarter decisions, you are exactly the right fit.
Which circle tier is right for me?
If you are a solo founder or small team just getting started with strategic support, begin with the Starter Circle. If you want deeper access—WhatsApp support and monthly mini-audits—the Growth Circle is the most popular choice. If you are a senior leader managing complex projects or portfolios, the Elite Circle gives you the full depth of Sonto's support including quarterly strategy sprints.
Can I bring a team member into my sessions?
Yes. Many members include a co-founder, manager, or project lead in sessions where it adds value. Just indicate this during onboarding and we'll accommodate it.
What if I want to cancel?
Growth Circle memberships are monthly subscriptions. You can cancel at any time with no penalty. We ask for 30 days' notice as a courtesy—but there are no lock-in contracts and no cancellation fees.
